Groups

Are you a group of friends and wish to rent the entire chalet? Excellent, some buildings are suitable to accommodate a group, and you will have the entire house for yourselves while being able to use the common area in the main building. Both Vokurka and Kunzárna contain common areas including a kitchenette, so you may also prepare a meal together while keeping an eye on the sleeping children.

We also regularly welcome school groups who come for their school outdoor camps or a ski course, and camps are organized at Horský domov during the summer. We provide catering (5 meals a day for schools, we may also prepare a takeaway lunch for a trip). During the winter, ski buses from Strážné and Bubákov arrive for the school group to the church, and take them to the ski lifts free of charge. We may arrange for a program organized by the national part guard or the mountain rescue service. Vilka is the most suitable accommodation for small schools or one class; a large group or several classes may book the entire compound.

Children are welcome. They may fully enjoy the large furnished playroom or the outdoor playground with a sandpit, swings, slope and a trampoline. We breed pigs, sheep and chicken. During the winter, we will gladly rent sledges and snow gliders. Child beds and chairs are also available.

Horský domov is the recreational site for the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren. We are here for the congregations of all churches who wish to book a collective stay, winter holiday, calming down or a spiritual practice. The premises also include a beautiful small art nouveau church, which we administer. The church serves as a place of prayer for the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren congregation in Vrchlabí. Services are held each month on the first Monday at 11 a.m.

We offer premises for company events such as team building events, trainings and others. Our experiences tell us that the needs may vary significantly, so do not hesitate to contact us, and we will always strive to oblige you. We may recommend agencies for this type of events, prepare a coffee break or evening refreshments and others.

We reserve several weekends each year for weddings. The ceremony may be held in the church (following agreement with the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren congregation in Vrchlabí) or at the meadow. We provide for catering, recommend places where to order sweets or flowers. We can accommodate up to 80 persons, and further capacity may be arranged for in the neighbourhood. A wedding day is always most important for the engaged couple, so we will be happy to comply with your wishes.
