Meals

We prepare a wide variety of not only Czech meals, and our kitchen is often the reason why our guests gladly come back. We don’t do ready-to-cook meals – our kitchen contains no substitutes or artificial additives. We prepare meals solely from basic fresh ingredients and often use local sources.

For breakfast, you will enjoy the classic variety of a cold buffet but you will be also delighted by our homemade lamb pâté, two types of our own fresh bread, and sometimes the cook also prepares small cakes.

We do not offer a selection of meals – we prepare one meal for lunch and one meal for dinner. At breakfast, you will find the daily menu for each particular day written on a sign. We will happily oblige your dietary restrictions.

Meal Times

Breakfast: 8–9 a.m.

Breakfast

Cold buffet with a wide variety of dishes. Eggs, small sausages, cheese, smoked meats, vegetables, fruits, yoghurt, various cereals, jams, honey from a beekeeper, homemade pâté, two types of or our own bread, baked baguettes… And drip coffee, juices, tea selection.

Lunch and Dinner

We always prepare one hot meal and a soup for lunch, and one hot meal for dinner. We strive at preparing a variety of dishes, so that you do not spend the entire week only eating dumplings and a sauce 😊. You may look forward to the Czech classics such as stuffed dumplings with smoked meat and cabbage, traditional Svíčková (cream) sauce with bread dumplings, but also less typical dishes such as chicken thigh and teryaki sauce, lasagne with red lentils, or Asian Shumai meat dumplings. For groups, we will gladly prepare a takeaway lunch for their trip instead of a lunch.

Well-stocked Bar

Our well-stocked bar is the heart of the main building, a pleasant place to meet. There is Kynšperský zajíc on the tap, and we tend to the pipes with love, so it is always top quality. The beer from the Kynšperk brewery is made by brewer Petr Bednář, whose love for beer could be appreciated in the formerly offered Krkonošský medvěd. We always have a classic lager and some of the Kynšperk specials. We further offer good coffee which we purchase at Father’s, an excellent roasting-plant in Ostrava. We also have a wide variety of other cold and hot drinks, ice creams, sweet and salty snacks.

We also prepared a number of homemade goodies to go with the beer. We have pickled camembert-type cheese with dried tomatoes and rosemary, our own lamb pâté or pork rillettes. All of it to go with homemade bread or crisp rolls.
