Horský domov Herlíkovice lies at the edge of Strážné, in south-west part of the Krkonoše mountains overlooking the city of Vrchlabí. The premises with four buildings and a church lie on the mountainside and offer amazing views. Marked tourist trails will lead you from the house to the Krkonoše mountains’ peaks, and you only need to take a few steps to enter the forest.

Individuals, families with children or organized group, there is something for everyone. You may organize a wedding, team building event, school outdoor camp or a ski course. We offer accommodation with catering, and there is also a reception desk and a bar.

Horský domov consists of four buildings – the main building, the Vilka, Kunzárna and Vokurka. The main building provides a common area for use by the guests accommodated in any part of the premises. This includes a large dining hall, bar with seats by the fire, playroom for the children, clubroom for the older children.

Each building offers a different level of accommodation – someone prefers to stay in a room in the main building, fitted with a bathroom, someone selects a less expensive stay in the Vilka with shared bathrooms, Kunzárna offers a separate suite with a bathroom and a kitchenette.

We provide our guests with all-day catering; the accommodation includes breakfast, and lunch and dinner can be ordered separately. We offer 5 meals a day for schools. Our kitchen prepares meals using fresh ingredients, we also use local sources and we never use any ready-to-cook meals, artificial additives and substitutes. There is always one hot meal and soup for lunch and one hot meal for dinner. For breakfast, we offer cold buffet, which also offers a homemade pâté or our own fresh bread. Lunches and dinners comprise of meals from various cuisines, so do not expect just dumplings and a sauce or a schnitzel. We are ready to accommodate dietary restrictions and will be happy to oblige you.

The bar has a well-tended Kynšperský zajíc on the tap, we always offer a classic lager and some Kynšperk special, you will be offered a wide range of gins and excellent coffee. And we also have some homemade goodies to go with the beer.
